As a banking Executive with over 20 years of experience in the financial sector, April has developed a stellar track record in improving business performance through the strategic application of Human Resources (HR) initiatives. Within BMO Financial Group April has led teams of up to 70 HR professionals, and in Senior Line Management has developed high performing teams of 200 + employees.

April is the builder of creative and impactful enterprise-wide strategies including: leading edge Call Centre quality monitoring programs to significantly increase productivity; Branch Network redesign to improve customer satisfaction; Recruitment and Intake programs to reduce hiring time and increase both productivity and quality of hire; Diversity and Inclusion initiatives to effectively compete for best talent; and Leadership Development programs to strengthen leadership capabilities (e.g. Talent Renewal of BMO’s top 500 leaders).
